Journal Entry – Letters of Goodbye to your grade two teachers Think of all your favourite memories from grade one and grade two. Write a letter to your teacher saying goodbye! What will you miss about our classroom? What do you want to share with your teacher? What is something your teacher could improve on? Give US a goal too! Ensure your letter has a greeting (Dear ______) and a signature at the end (From ____) This assignment must be turned in to your teacher.	(1 hour)
Independent Reading Pick a book from Raz Kids, an online book or a book you have at home and work on your independent reading goals.	(1 hour)
Reading Response – “I Wish That I Had Duck Feet” Listen to Mrs. Luckhardt’s read-aloud and reflect on the things you love about yourself.	(30 mins)
Advertisement Video Watch the sample advertisement video below. Create a video advertising your favourite book or movie and convince someone else to read or watch it! Be persuasive! Come up with at least three strong reasons why this is a good book or show to watch. This assignment must be turned into your teacher.	(1 hour)

Math	Time 1.5 hours
